She’s always up for a good time, and last night (November 9) Jennifer Aniston was spotted basking in the glory of her 24-Hour Play performance in New York City.
The “Management” actress made her exit from the American Airlines Theatre in the Broadway district and headed off to an after party as the paparazzi looked on.
Quite the frequent flyer, Blake Lively was spotted clutching her favorite pillow as she arrived at LAX Airport on Thursday night (November 12).
The “Gossip Girl” actress has been busy splitting duties in between work on her hit CW show, as well as a new movie called “The Town”.
Meanwhile, it seems that Miss Lively’s Serena Van der Woodsen character has taken over as the biggest hair-related inspiration since Jennifer Aniston’s role as Rachel Greene.
“It’s aspirational hair,” NYC salon owner John Barrett tells The New York Times, adding that clients, “don’t just want the hair, they want the life.”
Commenting on her highly-requested hairdo, Lively said, “I didn’t really realize the extent of it,” Blake told the NYT of her hair’s popularity, although she did note that “it’s hard to ignore when fashion forerunners like Vogue staffers routinely approach at events and fixate on her hair.”
“That’s always kind of odd, but unbelievably flattering,” Blake confesses.

If that title didn’t make any sense, here’s the translation: is the hairstyle Blake Lively wears on ‘Gossip Girl’ becoming as popular as Jennifer Aniston’s trendsetting hairstyle on ‘Friends’? Robert Gioria, of the Robert G. Salon in the West Village in Manhattan, says Blake’s hairstyle has been the “most requested” in the last six months.
“It’s aspirational hair,” said John Barrett, whose salon sits atop Bergdorf Goodman in Midtown Manhattan.
Clients, Mr. Barrett said, “don’t just want the hair, they want the life.”
Hairstylist Nuri Yurt cautioned that the style only works for “tall, slim women.”

She headed South after appearing in 24 Hour Plays in NYC earlier this week, as she enjoys one of her favorite places for a quick qetaway. With Gossip Girl becoming an increasing hit with women ages 18-34, it’s no surprise that Serena’s hair is coveted. Both Blake and her TV character seem to be a fan of the messy, tasseled, shiny hair look as well.
In the last six months, Blake’s cut has been John’s most requested at his Salon in Bergodorf Goodman in Midtown.
“I didn’t really realize the extent of it,” Blake told the NYT of her hair’s popularity.
However, it’s hard to ignore when fashion forerunners like Vogue staffers routinely approach her at events and fixate on her hair, she said.
“That’s always kind of odd, but unbelievably flattering,” Blake admits.
Despite the demographic for Gossip Girl, women of all ages are requesting the Blake style.
Laura Kennedy, 44, is a client at John’s salon who got the cut.
While its fitting for 21-year-old girls like Blake, it also “kind of transcends,” Laura said. “It’s a good look.”

On Monday, Ashton and his grandmother wife, Demi Moore, attended the after-party to Ashton’s gig at the “24 Hour Plays.” in NYC. The duo caught up with pal Jennifer Aniston and were trying to enjoy the evening.
That is, until another party guest decided to get his mockery on.
His target: Demi!
An eyewitness at the party recalls:
“Demi and Jennifer Aniston were happily sitting together in the VIP when this guy starting really obviously making fun of Demi and things like her relationship with a younger man. It went on for quite a while. Ashton heard it and approached him. At first he thought the guy wasn’t serious and was like ‘what the?’ He then realized he was serious. Ashton lost it…It got pretty heated, nobody knew what to do.”
As Ashton lost his cool and went into a rage, Demi was said to look very embarrassed. Once the verbal spat finally cooled down, the couple and Aniston escaped through the back entrance.
Wow! Wonder what this guy could have said to get little Ashton do riled up! We think maybe he’s just a tad too sensitive? Afterall, who hasn’t made fun of Demi Moore?!
Granted, very few people are ballsy enough to do it in earshot range, but we commend him for that!
